Dentist Ashburton

Carnegie Dental Group has been providing patients with quality dental care for 40 years

When it comes to receiving quality dental care, you want to know you’re in friendly, experienced hands. You most likely want a dentist who will explain the treatment clearly and will only prescribe the treatments you need to maintain a healthy, natural-looking smile.

At Carnegie Dental Group we have been working with patients for 40 years, providing dental healthcare to three generations of some families. One of things we pride ourselves on is ensuring each patient is treated as individual—we do not recommend treatments unless it will help your oral health today and long into the future.

Maintaining as many of your natural teeth is the best possible outcome for your long-term oral health

From general dental treatment to full mouth reconstruction, our dentists work with patients from three years to ninety years. Even at ninety years of age, patients can look after their dental health and we have the team who can help them.

For our youngest patients helping them to understand the importance of oral health and how to look after their teeth is just as important. Milk teeth (baby teeth) are important for the development of adult teeth.

Receiving the right dental treatments for your health

With decades of experience, Carnegie Dental Group offer patients of all ages a variety of treatments to help them maintain optimal oral health.

When you visit our dental practice, located conveniently close to Ashburton, our team will assess your oral health and determine the best course of action for you. Whether you need a filling or a dental implant, we have the treatment, the skills and the technology to help you.

Dental implants

Dental implant treatment takes between 4 and 6 months to complete and provides you with a whole tooth replacement. The dental implant is a titanium screw surgically inserted at the site of the missing tooth root. Once your jawbone heals around the implant, a dental crown or dental bridge is attached.

A dental crown is used if you need one tooth replaced, and a dental bridge can replace 2 to 4 missing teeth. If you need more than teeth than that replaced, Carnegie Dental Group offer dentures. This traditional tooth replacement option is effective at replacing teeth and restoring bite and chewing function to patients.
