Dental Implants Bentleigh

Dr Rosenbaum provides dental implant treatment to replace missing or badly damaged teeth. The dental implant options allow for single tooth replacement, multiple tooth replacement or all tooth replacement.

What are dental implants?

Dental Implants comprise of a small biocompatible metal screw that is fixed to your jaw bone. This is then connected to a strong, high quality, realistic looking tooth crown. This provides the appearance and function of a real tooth while supporting the jaw bone underneath.

When are dental implants needed?

If you have lost a tooth or teeth due to trauma such as an accident, or have had teeth extracted due to hygiene or growth reasons they can be replaced with dental implants. These implants act like a natural tooth root and support the surrounding jaw bone and gum.

There are a number of risks associated with failing to replace missing teeth, this includes movement within the surrounding teeth, loss of jaw bone and increased risk of other health concerns including stroke and heart attack as the risk of gum disease and infection is increased.
