Restore the appearance of your smile with a full mouth reconstruction

With a comprehensive treatment plan your smile can look as good as new

Are you happy with the appearance of your teeth?

Do you find yourself covering your mouth when you laugh?

Do you shy away from photos?

At Carnegie Dental Group we offer full mouth reconstruction. This is a number of different treatments (as many as 5; as few as 2) to help restore the appearance, and functionality, of your smile.

Restoring your smile

The best cosmetic and restorative dental treatment for you depends on your smile. Since everyone’s teeth, gums and jaws are different there is no one size fits all treatment.

To ensure you receive the best treatment for your smile, an oral health assessment including x-rays will be taken. By carrying this out in your initial consultation we can assess which treatments will be the most successful for you.

The treatments which make up a full mouth reconstruction can include:

  • Teeth whitening
  • Dental veneers
  • Dental implants
  • Dental crowns
  • Dental bridges
  • Dentures

When you receive porcelain restorations it is recommend that you first have your teeth whitened. There are two reasons for this:

  1. Your porcelain restorations are colour-matched to your teeth
  2. Porcelain restorations cannot be whitened by tooth whitening products.

Missing teeth

If you are missing a tooth, dental implant treatment is the best treatment solution for you. The dental implant is a titanium screw that is placed at the sight of the missing tooth root. A prosthetic tooth (also known as an implant crown) is then attached to the dental implant providing you with a whole tooth replacement.

Multiple missing teeth will either require a dental bridge or denture. Depending on your oral health a Carnegie Dental Group dentist may recommend implant-supported dentures as these are often the best choice for your health.

Veneers or crowns?

A porcelain veneer serves a different purpose to a dental crown.

Porcelain veneers are thin shells of porcelain bonded to the front of your teeth to conceal chips, cracks and imperfections.

Dental crowns are more a restorative treatment, rather than cosmetic. Dental crowns are porcelain caps which cover a damaged or weakened tooth. This treatment is commonly used when a tooth has undergone root canal therapy or severe decay has been removed.

Your smile: your treatment

If you’re unhappy with the appearance of your smile, visit our friendly team and we can assess your oral health.

We have had patients come in looking for teeth whitening. After assessment it was discovered they in fact needed root canal therapy and a dental crown. Because stains can be deceptive. What looks like stained on the outside of teeth could actually be decay eating away the inside of your tooth. Which is why it’s important to look after your health and have regular check-ups.

If you’re unhappy with your teeth, we can help. From tooth whitening to dental implants Carnegie Dental Group have the treatment and the friendly staff to help you.
